Keeping our campus community healthy and safe
From our on-campus Student Health Center and Counseling Center to drug and alcohol abuse prevention services and stress management, our Healthy Husky initiative is all about giving you the tools to thrive as a member of our pack. Add to that our Campus Safety professionals, led by the fully accredited University Police, and you can be assured this campus prides itself on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all Huskies.
Ready to join the Husky family?
All incoming students are required to submit six health forms through our web portal. These include Consent for Treatment, Health History, TB Screening Questionnaire, Immunization Dates, Medical Insurance Information, and the Notice of Privacy Practices. Login below with your Husky ID and password.
Student Health Center
The on-campus Student Health Center is staffed by caring medical professionals who offer many health services by appointment including routine exams, acute care, consultations, and other healthcare services.
Counseling Center
Life can be tricky to navigate ... and college life is no different. Bloomsburg offers students free services through our on-campus Counseling and Human Development Center to help you cope with anxiety, depression, relationships, adjustment difficulties, family issues, substance use, eating concerns, traumatic events and more.
Student Well-Being and Health Promotion
Our campus-wide health and wellness initiative focuses on education and prevention; featuring our Husky PAWS (Peer Assisted Wellness Services). These students are trained to support and educate their peers about various health issues that affect student success. You'll see PAWS all over campus with giveaways, games and activities, handouts, and more to help you live well so you can learn well.
Campus Cupboard
The Campus Cupboard provides support for students facing food insecurity or financial strain. Stocked with essential items ranging from non-perishable foods to personal hygiene products, it stands as a testament to our community's commitment to inclusivity and support.
Campus Safety
We're committed to the safety and well-being of our campus community. Bloomsburg's University Police is accredited by the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association through its Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Program. We're one of only seven accredited Institutions of Higher Education Law Enforcement Agencies within Pennsylvania to have earned this accreditation. In addition, the Office of Workplace Safety is responsible for protecting the health and safety of students, employees, and visitors.
