The Master of Accountancy program provides the advanced accounting knowledge and skills necessary to prepare students for successful entry into public accounting and successful completion of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination.

* Applicants need to have earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and/or have completed courses in intermediate accounting, cost accounting, tax, accounting information systems, and audit.

* If the student is a Bloomsburg Accounting major and has at least a 3.0 overall GPA and at least a 3.0 GPA in the accounting classes, the GRE/GMAT will be waived.

• Q: Do I need a degree in accounting to be admitted? 
  A: Yes - Applicants need to have earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and/or have completed courses in intermediate accounting, cost accounting, tax, accounting information systems, and audit. 
• Q: How is the program delivered? 
  A: Classes meet once or twice a week for 15 weeks in the spring and fall semesters. Summer session courses are online or hybrid for 6 or 12-week sessions. Class meetings are on the Bloomsburg campus. 
• Q: How long does it take to complete the program? 
  A: Students can choose to take courses on a full- or part-time basis. Full-time students may be able to finish the program in just one year; most part-time students finish within just three years. Course offerings are rotated between daytime and evenings to accommodate part-time students.

  A: Applications are accepted for the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.
