Welcome to the Office of Teacher Preparation, Clinical Practice, and Certification at 51ÁÔÆæ.
The Office of Teacher Preparation, Clinical Practice, and Certification (OTPCPC) works to support students through the Teacher Candidacy process, obtaining clearances and facilitating field experience placements. As a Commonwealth University student, the OTPCP works to prepare students for the skills and knowledge they need to meet certification requirements and provide resources to support the next generation of educators.

Clearance Resources
All freshman entering as Education majors are required to obtain clearances to enter field placements in schools. Commonwealth University requires students to upload these clearances to the CU Clearance Database, in addition to providing clearances to the schools they enter. Please review the resources provided to assist in obtaining and uploading your clearance documents.
